Tree Damage
Many people tend to think of trees as indestructible elements of a landscaping design. The truth is that trees are living, breathing organisms that are susceptible to both exterior, physical damage and interior damage caused by virtually invisible diseases and pests. At Sutton Consulting Arborists, we have 30 plus years of experience assessing and treating damaged trees, and we can help you determine whether or not you will be able to restore your trees to a healthful state, or if it is necessary to replace them. Some of the most obvious examples of tree damage include damage done by forces of nature. In Florida, this could mean hurricane damage. Hurricanes can sweep through a landscape and tear down or mortally wound even the largest of trees. Determining whether a hurricane-damaged tree is salvageable is just one of the services we provide here at Sutton Consulting Arborists. Another type of tree damage that can take much longer to notice is root damage. The roots are an integral part of the life system for most trees, and they can be damaged in a number of different ways. Construction near a tree's roots can greatly upset and even permanently damage those roots. The effects of this type of damage can be subtle initially, and may take ten years or more to become noticeable to the naked eye. Properly Assessing Tree Damage |
